Oops... We Did It Again!

Like Britney, we're back. Mark down Saturday, April 24 on your calendar, dust off your dancing shoes and find your favorite Bloody Mary recipe, because you are invited to Carla's 2nd Annual Bloody Birthday Bash! That's right, we're doing it again and this time around we plan on remembering it!

The Bash kicks off at 7:30pm and Bloody Mary Mix-Off judging will commence at 8:30pm sharp. Come out and help us celebrate Carla's birthday in style; bring friends, partners, spouses and Bloody Mary enthusiasts. If you don't fancy V8 & vodka, don't worry, we'll have plenty of snacks and a keg of a Goose Island Green Line Pale Ale tapped and ready to go. On top of consuming a delicious hometown beer, we'll be preserving approximately 125 square feet of rainforest in Costa Rica. Fill your glass and save the world, not too shabby for a Saturday night, eh?

If you're a mixologist who has developed a patent-pending, taste-bud exploding Bloody Mary and want to unleash its potency on unsuspecting party-goers, follow these simple instruction:

• Email me and let me know you want in
• Download Official Entry Form (it's a pdf)
• Devise your recipe
• Arrive to party with your Bloody Marys ready to serve (bring enough to fill a pitcher)
• Find me and I'll set you up with a tasting station
• Hustle, Cheat, Flirt. Do what you gotta to do to obtain votes!
• Have fun

Here's how the competition will play out. Each entrant will prepare, garnish and present their very own bloody mary recipe to a cast of highly-trained and somewhat sober party-goers. Each party-goer will receive 5 votes in the form of coupons upon their arrival to the party. Every contestant will have a sampling station to show off his or her mad mixing skills. In each of these stations there will be a ballot box where party-goers will have the opportunity to place one to five of their votes. The winner will be selected by popular vote. Whoever ends up with the most votes wins. Sound like a bloody good time? Hit me up if you want enter the contest.
